What's new

Rares should feel rare, so the Treasure Workshop now has one for everybody each day, picked at random from the vault. On Saturdays it is a grand rare. A rare also takes about twice the digging it did, so the one on your shelf means something.

Digging is as quick as ever and your finds sell for what they always did, so a day without a rare still pays. And there is more to dig for now: you can see the week ahead, and the game tells you when a find is one today's rare needs.

Step by step

How it works

  1. See today's rareOpen the Workshop from the detector's meter or at Wren's counter in Bloom Park. Today shows the day's rare, what it takes and what you already have.
  2. Plan with Coming upComing up shows the rares of the next seven days and what each one takes, so you know what is worth keeping and what to sell.
  3. Follow the finds that countWhen something you dig up is for today's rare, the message says so and how many you have now.
  4. Let your luck turnGo 25 finds without a rare one and your luck turns: that find is sure to be rare or better. The Workshop shows how close you are.

Good to know

  • A new rare comes in at midnight UTC, and you can make one a day.
  • Keep your finds: there is no limit on what you hold, and any of them may be what next week's rare needs.
  • Trade ups still turn spare finds into a rarer one when you are one short.
