The stage
A palace with a wall of light
The Mainstage stands on an island of its own, at night. A palace forms the back of the stage, the FreeWorlds Mainstage LED Wall fills its front, screens of moving visuals flank it, and the DJ booth sits at its foot facing the field.
The booth plays MatchFlow's own DJ sets for the venue when they have been put up, and anyone there can play YouTube or SoundCloud on the stage instead. The sound fills the whole island, as loud at the back of the crowd as by the booth.
The light show
Lights that keep time
The Mainstage's rig plays with the music: 34 moving beams on the stage floor and the trusses, 6 blinders, 6 lasers and laser banks, strobes, smoke, CO2 jets and pyro. Every screen in the crowd sees the same show at the same moment.
A light desk
Whoever is working the music can pick a mood: Auto, Techno, House, Trance or Chill.
Cues
Build, Drop, Blackout, Strobe and Flash, fired from the desk when the moment comes.
Effects
Fireworks, fire chases, CO2 and sparks, from the rig's own fixtures.
Around the stage
Somewhere to take a breather
Behind the crowd the field opens out: 12 beer benches round their tables on the grass, a bamboo bar with stools, beanbags and palm trees. It is where friends regroup between sets.

Missions
