Social virtual world

A Social Virtual World Where Hanging Out Is the Game

FreeWorlds isn't about grinding levels on your own. It's about being somewhere with other people: talking, dancing, watching something together, or just hanging out on a sofa.

Conversations

Talk like you're really there

Chat in World happens over people's heads, where everyone in the room can see it, and stays in the space chat for anyone who missed it.

  • Speech bubbles Say something and it pops up over your avatar.
  • Emotes and gestures Laugh, cheer, clap, wave, point or give a thumbs up.
  • Whispers A private line to one person in the room, or to a friend anywhere in World.

Public places

Somewhere to go, any night

MatchFlow's 7 venues are open to everyone, all the time. Walk in, find a seat, and say hi.

Scarlet Club's lounge and dining room: red sofas, candlelit tables, a grand piano and people chatting
  • FreeWorlds Cinema

The big screen, together: take a seat and watch with everyone in the room.

  • FreeWorlds Arena

The biggest stage in World: a warehouse rave with a wall of LED behind the decks.

  • FreeWorlds Mainstage

World's festival main stage: a palace on its own island, lasers in its crown, the whole crowd under the night sky.

  • Scarlet Club

A supper club in red and black: candlelit dinners, cocktails at the bar, pool tables, and a dance floor that lights up in hearts and roses.

  • Bloom Park

A town park round a fountain, with flower gardens, picnic lawns, swings and a campfire under the trees. Sit on the pier to feed the ducks, watch the koi rise and listen to the songbirds and frogs.

  • Hollowmoor Manor

A manor on a cliff where a masquerade vanished a hundred years ago. Take a torch, find what the guests left behind, and get out before midnight. Open every Halloween.

  • FreeWorlds Stadium

A floodlit football stadium: join a team and play a match on the pitch, or take a seat in the stands with the crowd and the cheerleaders.

Safety

Social, with MatchFlow's rules

World runs on the same account and the same rules as the rest of MatchFlow.

  • Age rules between two people

Everyone shares World's rooms, but friend requests, whispers, invites and gifts follow MatchFlow's age rules.

  • One block, everywhere

Block someone on MatchFlow or in World and they're gone from both.

  • Report in a click

Every avatar's menu has Report, and chat is checked by MatchFlow's moderation.

  • Your space, your rules

Make your home private, invite who you like, and boot or ban anyone who spoils the fun.
