Delete your MatchFlow account
Delete your account in the browser without installing the app, or from Settings → Account → Delete account inside the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
What deletion removes
- Your account, email address, password hash, and connected Google or Discord sign-in links.
- Your profile, interests, preferences, bio, avatar and photos.
- Your direct-message threads and messages, match and friend requests, friends list, and notifications.
- Your blocks, presence data, and every push-notification token, so no device receives notifications for the account any more.
- Your policy acceptances are kept only as an anonymous record that a now-deleted account id accepted a policy version.
What is kept, and why
- Community posts are anonymised, not erased. The text is replaced with “[deleted]” and detached from you so other members' reply threads do not collapse.
- Safety records survive deletion. Reports about the account, moderation decisions, and enforcement history are retained for a limited period so that deleting an account cannot erase an abuse trail, and to meet legal obligations (for example child-safety escalations). They are held under restricted access and are not visible to other members.
- Ban fingerprints (irreversible hashes) may be retained to prevent a banned person from returning.
