Lap Sit: ask to sit on someone's lap

Ask somebody sitting on a sofa, a chair or a bench if you can sit on their lap. They choose, and it ends the moment either of you moves.

What's new

Lap Sit is a new way to get close on a sofa. Ask someone who is already sitting down if you can sit on their lap, and if they say yes, you settle in sideways with their arm round you.

It is for adults only, and it always asks first. The ask goes to the other person alone, nobody else in the room hears about it, and if they say no that is the end of it.

Step by step

How it works

Get Lap SitLap Sit is in the Shop under New In, for 500 gold. You buy it once and keep it. You need to be VIP to use it.
Find someone on a seatThe other person has to be sitting on a chair, a sofa or a bench, and you have to be standing next to them. Nobody can already be on their lap.
AskOpen your Inventory, choose Lap Sit and press Sit on lap, or press it on your action bar. Your pointer turns into a crosshair: click them.

What they see when you ask.
They decideThey get a box asking if you can sit on their lap, with Accept and Decline. Closing it counts as a no, and the ask runs out after a minute.
Getting upIt ends as soon as you walk off or sit somewhere else, or when they stand up, change seat or either of you leaves the room.

Good to know

Both of you need to be adults. A block either way stops it too.
Turning the camera never moves you off the lap: you stay where you are and the pose follows.
Wait a few seconds between asks.
